The main event has finally arrived and it is time to go trick or treating. After successfully carving our pumpkins and eating a decent dinner, the kids were ready to go out and trick or treat! Unfortunately, Halloween was on a Sunday this year and I have mixed feelings keeping my kids out so late when it's a school night, even for Halloween! We decided to go ahead and get them dressed and left close to when the sun started to set. After all, we still have a two-year old and he needs his beauty rest.
Here are the kids posing for the camera.
After the carnival at the church, I thought it would be so neat to have a light saber for Braden's costume. This way, if he decided to not wear his Yoda hat, we could just say he was Luke Skywalker.
I was impressed with Braden. He wore his Yoda ears the entire evening and carried his light saber.
However, you would be shocked to know how many times someone called him Shrek! Really?! Can you not tell the difference? Especially, since he's carrying a light saber!!
Look very closely at the difference in the ears.

We finally made it home exhausted and tired, but the kids wanted to see exactly what they got. Notice that Braden still has on his Yoda ears!!
