The Tooth Fairy made her first visit

Since Bailey was in Kindergarten all she has talked about is losing a tooth. Some of her friends lost a tooth that year and she wanted so badly for this to happen to her. Since this isn't something that you know when it's exactly going to happen I told her that probably by the time she was 7 that a tooth would fall out. I figured this would buy me some time, anyway. Every time one of her friends loses a tooth she would come home all excited that maybe her turn would be next. In fact, sometimes she would say she had a loose tooth when in fact it wasn't the slightest bit loose. We were getting closer and closer to her 7th birthday and no tooth had come out. I was beginning to worry because I didn't know what I was going to tell next if she turned 7 and a tooth hadn't fallen out yet.

Luckily, about a week ago she came home from school VERY EXCITED claiming that one of her teeth was loose. She wiggled on it for days wanting it to fall out so bad. Finally, it was time for it to come out and wouldn't you know she didn't want us to pull it out anymore. I think she was afraid that it would hurt. We finally have a loose tooth and now we can't get it out of her mouth. We let her go to bed that night and the whole time I'm thinking she's going to eat something at school the next day and swallow her tooth! However, she made it home with the tooth still barely hanging on and finally let Robert pull it out.

The tooth fairy was a little low on funds so she had to leave 8 quarters for Bailey's first tooth. The next morning Bailey was so excited that the tooth fairy left her $8!!!! However, mom and dad quickly explained that this was really only $2, but she was still very excited.

Unfortunately, after all the excitement Brianna proclaimed that she didn't want to lose any teeth because the whole experience looked scary to her. What I am going to do with her and her fears?!
