Happy Easter 2010

We had a BUSY, BUSY Easter weekend.

The first and most important thing is that Bailey accepted Jesus into her heart. What a perfect weekend for this momentous occasion to occur and I couldn't be more proud of her. She has the biggest heart and I am so blessed to have her as a daughter.

Saturday afternoon the girls and I met up with my good friend, Jesica, and her daughter, Ashlyn, to have pedicures. It was the girls first experience of having a pedicure and they were too cute sitting in their chairs.

That evening we joined our Sunday School class for our annual Easter egg hunt. The little kids go to go first, so here is Braden with help from Daddy.

Then he enjoyed eating all of the candy he "hunted" while the big kids got their turn.

Poor Brianna was in such a hurry to get all of the eggs, that most of hers fell out of her basket!

However, Bailey was a little more patient and methodical about her egg hunt, so she had plenty to share with her younger sister. What a good sister!!

That night the kids bathed and went to bed anticipating the arrival of the Easter Bunny.

The kids enjoyed all of their goodies from the Easter Bunny and then it was rush, rush, rush to get to church by the 9:30 service. Nana and Papa O'Connor met us there for the service and Bailey went down to the front during the invitation to receive Christ. What an awesome event!!

After church we headed over to Nana and Papa's house where I was finally able to capture some pictures of the kids in their Easter outfits since the morning at home was chaotic.

We tried to get a good picture of the three kids, but the first one Braden wasn't looking at the camera.

Take two...

After too much rearranging he decides, "I'm outta here!"

So, we decide to try a family picture.

He apparently doesn't want his momma.

Let's see if Daddy can have better luck.

Still trying for that perfect family picture.

Good enough!!

After the kids changed we went outside and let them have another Easter egg hunt.

Sweet, precious Bailey.

Miss Priss, Brianna

Sweet little "Bubba"

As if eating all that candy wasn't enough for the kids, Nana and Papa decided to make an Easter cake to have for dessert.

I think we've had enough sugar in the last 48 hours to last us awhile!!
