Trunk or Treat

We attended the carnival at our church that they have every year the Wednesday prior to Halloween. The theme is always "Trunk or Treat" and gives the kids games and activities to do for their candy. Also, there are bounce houses and hay rides to entertain the kids. The kids love it and I enjoy going because it gives us one more time to make use of their Halloween costumes.

This year we had a monarch butterfly, Barbie cheerleader, and Yoda. I was very worried that he wouldn't wear the Yoda hat because the day we purchased the costume he did not like it! However, he surprised me and wore it for this photo opportunity.

Here are the kids at one of the "trunks."

There was an even a goat for the kids to pet, which was very exciting! Here's Braden feeding the goats.

There were so many kids feeding those poor goats that they became full rather fast. When it was the girls turn, they just had to pet them because the goats were turning away from the food. Who knew?!

Robert's helping Braden "fish" for candy.

What precious girls I have! What you don't see is that we are actually on the hayride, which was a lot of fun for them. All in all, a successful event!
