Bluebonnets

A reminder that Spring has arrived in Texas!  Every year people in Texas take their kids, dogs, and who knows what else in fields with these flowers to catch moments in time of their loved ones.  These beautiful flowers grow wild and they are everywhere.  You will see people in open fields and even brave enough to put their kids on the side of the highway to catch the perfect picture.

We have some great friends that invited us to tag along, which always makes things more fun and exciting!

Even though Bailey is going to be 8 in one month, this year was the first year we took our kids to get pictures in the bluebonnets.  I think we should have waited a little later in the evening because we had a lot of shadows on our pictures, but better luck next year.  Also, it didn't help that I have a busy three-year old that doesn't want to look at the camera.

The kids weren't really sure about running in the field.  I don't think they liked the way it felt on their legs.

We were able to capture a few sweet moments in time.

We tried to get a picture with Braden and all of his puppies that he sleeps with.  There are actually three, but he decided that he only wanted two of them.  So, Bolt is missing in this picture.  :(
