We bought this duck for Braden a couple years ago when we stopped at a Cracker Barrel on the way to Georgia. We bought all three of the kids something and this was the only thing I could find that was age appropriate for him. Of course, he wasn't very interested in this nostalgia toy, so it's ended up at the bottom of a toy box.
He has re-discovered this toy and now it has become one of his favorites, alongside his matchbox cars, of course! It must be pretty important to him because he has given it a special name. He knows it's a duck and can tell you that it makes "quack,quack" noises. However, the special name he gave it?

ReplyDeleteActually, Robert explained to me the reason for the name, which I completely forgot about.
ReplyDeleteIn the movie Bolt, the dog has a squeaky toy that is a carrot and is named Mr. Carrot. Since the duck squeaks, I guess Braden associated that name with a squeaky toy. Go figure!!
