I'm a little behind on my posting, but we celebrated Nana's birthday by going to Applebee's for dinner. The kids love birthdays and think that there should always be a "party" with cake and ice cream. However, they were okay with us at least going to dinner and considered this her party.
After eating and waiting on a grumpy boy to fully "wake-up" after his nap, it was time for presents!
We got her a digital frame to put all the beautiful pictures of her grandkids. :)
Brittany got her a necklace from James Avery that she wanted.
Teresa wasn't able to make it to the "party," but she's going to help pay for a "Mommy" bracelet.
Since there was no official cake, we let the kids order dessert to celebrate Nana's birthday. I love the shooter desserts that restaurants are serving. They are a perfect size, especially for kids, and everyone can get what they want.
Braden wasn't sure how to eat his, so I guess he figured he would just dive in...
Oh son, try using your spoon!
Boys will be boys...
We had a great time celebrating Nana's birthday with her.
We love you, Nana, and look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you!!
