Grandaddy and Granny Mert visit

Grandaddy and Granny Mert have been visiting us for 4th of July for several years. We really wanted to see fireworks, but the weather wasn't cooperating.



So, we made the best of it and went out to eat...









The restaurant gave the kids balloons, but we have a rule that once we get home the balloons have to be set free.

Here are the girls after letting their balloons go.


Braden didn't want to go out in the rain, so Daddy was elected to set his free.


However, thanks to the rain, it sailed over our house and INTO THE BACKYARD!!
